Mishrif Formation is one of the most important oil reservoirs in Persian Gulf Basin. In present study, we used porosity and permeability data and petro-physical logs to determine flow zones and electrical facies of Mishrif Formation in the two wells of Esfand Oil Field, respectively. Three electrical facies were detected by MRGC method using petro-physical data. EF1 facies had the best reservoir parameters consisting mainly of carbonate shoal deposits and EF3 had the weakest reservoir parameters containing lagoon and open marine deposits. The porosity-permeability data also led to identification of four hydraulic units by using FZI index. HFU1 unit had the least reservoir quality and its facies mainly included carbonate shoal, lagoon and tidal flat sub-basins and HFU4 unit having the best reservoir quality was consisted of lagoon, carbonate shoal and open marine sub-basins' deposits. Also, EF1 electrical facies was corresponding to HFU2 and HFU3 flow zones, while EF3 was corresponding to HFU1. Study of reservoir potential of Mishrif Formation based on RPI index suggested its complicated reservoir quality. According to this index, Mishrif Reservoir was classified in weak and very weak classes in the studied wells. Sedimentary processes along with diagenetic processes had complicated effects on the reservoir's sequence and its parameters. Thus, assessment of electrical facies along with flow zones increases separation possibility of reservoir horizons.
